Our GUCV Lock is not certified by the FAA. With that said....

This new  GUCV (Gear Up Check Valve) Lock was designed to eliminate redrilling the Roll Pin Hole through the new GUCV. It retains the GUCV with a 10-32 screw. The lock secures to the contour of the valve body base and the 10-32 screw is then tightened against the back of the valve providing a positive and secure lock so the GUCV cannot back out. 
     
Our Gear Up Check Valve Lock was engineered and designed to fit and function on Piper Prestolite HYC5000 series powerpacks. This Lock secures the GUCV in place eliminating the need for a roll pin. It's easy to damage the Prestolite pump and making it non-functional by continued drilling through the pump valve body to secure a new GUCV.  Why take a chance on potentially damaging your pumps valve body by drilling through the new GUCV. Just install this lock and eliminate the drilling process and 1/8th roll-pin all together.
