This is a rigid 1” ball mount and plate
that is specifically designed for the R22. It secures to the helicopter
airframe at the right window frame. The mount uses base clamps to squeeze/sandwich
onto the window frame rails at the lower rear corner of the canopy where the
vertical and horizontal rails meet. Because it attaches to both a vertical and
horizontal rail, the mount is extremely rigid and allows for securing a phone, iPad, GPS or even a camera with virtually no induced secondary shaking or vibration.
It installs in less than a minute with a Phillips screw-driver using the
supplied four 8-32 screws. Unit can be removed just as fast if needed.
Monut comes with: 1" Ball, .125 thick mount plate and two 3 x .875 pinch plates, plus all the supporting AN hardware.
