Description

The Select Fire R25P Bolt Buffer is uniquely engineered for the 6.2 oz Ruger bolt assembly. The R25P can handle full automatic fire rates of 50 rd clips under continuous operation and temperature (Formulated to operate at -30 to +250 F). Our R25P buffer was tested to 10,000 rounds under full-auto and semi-auto fire conditions using 36gr and 40gr standard and high velocity 22LR ammunition. The buffer had no visual signs of failure or wear. The R25P is cut from a single strand of Polyurethane extrusion. Unlike most bolt buffers on the market, we prefer extruding the polyurethane formula. Molding individual buffers provides opportunity for inconsistency's in injection rate, pressure, cycle times, porosity and cooling. Select Fire offers a Lifetime Guarantee. 	Wonderful item, if you're reading this review chances are you don't need much more convincing .... just buy it, you'll be glad you did! I love it and so did my coworkers. Now they all have bolt buffers! BUY IT!

	The buffer required that the existing location be reamed out for the unit to fit. Once installed it was tested and performed as expected. Cushions the bolt very well.

That way when you need another one u have it on hand and do not have to go scouring the internet to find the one that has worked so well for you for many years through an insane amount of bolt abuse.

	Works, but difficult to install
	This product's main benefit is that it is soft and able to absorb the impact of the bolt slamming into it. However, because it is soft, it deforms as it is pressed into place. I believe that a chamfer on at least one end would make it easier to install. The hole was reamed to exactly the right size, so that was not the problem.

	Bolt Buffer
	Works as advertised, bolt is now very quiet, but the cut length is inconsistent. I've read reviews on similar products and had heard that the end cuts can be crooked and they may not be all the same length. So I ordered 6 for my 5 1022s. Sure enough, one was WAY under length, so far under it became jammed in the receiver. Luckily I had the extra one, which was to long, but easy to fix.

	This is a HAVE TO item. My factory stop pin was bent. Installed the new pin and the bolt fucntioned much better and quieter. The others on the market are NOT the quality these pins are. I rebuilt a Ruger 10/22 mag,with a Lilja barrel. Firing pin from Select Fire. (The ONLY pin that would work). This is the place to turn your weapon into a match grade,quality operater.

	Good piece
	Great product and very tough, but it's about .258 diameter. You'll go crazy trying to get it into a .250 hole and probably scratch up your gun. Just drill an "F" (.257) hole and it fits perfectly.
